Helps protect the scalp
In scalp protection mode, a distance sensor automatically measures the distance so that the heat is automatically reduced when the device gets closer to the hair. The hairdryer then constantly maintains a comfortаble target temperature of 55 °C – for gentle drying, even close to the scalp. Scalp protection mode is compatible with the gentle airflow attachment and the styling nozzle.

The Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor (V9) is fast, light and compact. It runs at up to 100,000 revolutions per minute and pushes 13 litres of air through the device every second. Pauses styling when you do
The auto-pause feature uses a motion sensor to detect when the hairdryer is put down during styling – or when you pause to section your hair, for example – and automatically deactivates the heating element and reduces airflow and noise.
Intelligent attachments
The five intelligent attachments are suitаble for different styling needs and hair types. They have pre-programmed airflow and temperature settings, which can also be individually adjusted within an optimized range. The device uses a detection sensor to automatically recognize the different attachments as soon as they are attached and switch to the last used settings. The waves and curls diffuser offers two modes. In dome mode, the air is directed through the hair for more defined natural waves or curls. The diffuser mode, on the other hand, provides more volume at the roots to give natural curls and frizzy hair more structure.
